Meet Challenger-Red, a Done Right son of the legendary “Apple” herself. This cow has cemented her place in the hearts and minds of breeders across the globe as one of the greatest show/brood cows in the history of the Holstein breed. If you study her pedigree, it is apparent that Apple wasn’t a genetic fluke, but rather the culmination of decades of astute breeding.
Our vision with this mating was to produce offspring from Apple that would compliment her physique while maintaining everything we love about her. Challenger-Red is a very correct young bull, with his mothers capacity and wonderful rib, and also with a slope from hips to pins.
We believe Challenger can channel Apple’s breeding power while adding to the longevity and good components that already excel in this maternal line.
