Your semen ships in a Triple-Hil dry shipper tank that keeps it safely frozen the whole way with just a vapor — no visible liquid is required. However, if the tank arrives warm with no frost inside, call Lowell Martin at 1-855-955-2100 ext. 103 immediately.
When your shipment arrives
- Keep the tank upright at all times.
- Cut the zip ties and open the outer shipping container.
- Cut the zip tie on the tank and verify the tank is still cold. Liquid does not need to be present.
- Transfer the semen into your own storage tank as soon as possible while verifying the order was fulfilled correctly. Contact us immediately if there are any issues with the order.
Returning the tank
The shipper tank belongs to Triple-Hil and needs to come back to us as soon as possible. The return is easy and it costs you nothing:
- Once your semen is removed, close the tank back up (see the steps below).
- Set the closed tank back out in the same spot where FedEx/UPS dropped it off.
- We issue a call tag for the tank, and FedEx/UPS returns to pick it up. You don't need to schedule a pickup, print a label, or pay any return shipping.
FedEx/UPS will pick it up using the call tag we provide — no scheduling and no cost to you.
How to close the tank for return
Close it up exactly the way it arrived:
- Verify that the semen is removed and the canister is lowered back down inside the tank.
- Put the tank lid back on and lock it closed using the included zip ties.
- Set the tank back inside the shipping container, just as it came.
- Close the outer lid of the shipper and secure it with the included zip ties — the same way it was when delivered.
- Set the closed shipper back where the shipper dropped it off.
